Warren really spruced up the house for the occasion. The floors shine. The cabinets shine. I don't want to think about how many coats of wax he put on them. Lady was growling at them, but she does that with all strangers, so this wasn't anything new. She was more afraid of them than anything.
My sofabed is out. I managed to find a quilt at, of all places, Wal-Mart, that kind of matched the color scheme of the living room and the sheets on the sofabed. This was pretty amazing because most of what they carried at the Wal-Mart near work was either psychedelic colored or what I call "dead and dying beige," and my place is neither. Katie and Bob brought me some coffee. They know their clientele. I know what we're drinking tomorrow morning! :-)
We chatted a bit, then Warren and I went to get something to eat so Katie and Bob could have some privacy. After that I picked up some prescriptions, Warren topped off the oil in my car, and I went online from bed.
I worked an extra hour this past day to bank time so I could spend time with Katie and Bob (virtual) tomorrow.
